FAQ

Q: Why do some items have GFFX.org labeled on the picture?

A: There are two reasons, in addition to this shop I own an Etsy shop.

In early 2018 Etsy decided to give into "PC pressure" and required any "inappropriate items" to be blurred out as to not offend. Some items are still on my Etsy, {censored} but I kelp some of the newer items off and strictly on this site.

The other reason is certain home decor items were bought, not made. Thus they do not fit Etsy's handmade policy.

Q: What are the measurements of this piece?

A: All measurements are located in the listings description.

Q: Why do the paint jobs look different in each picture or in person?

A: When a paint job varies it means that it's a piece that I sell a multitude of. With each cast of a new prop the paint job will vary unless I receive a custom alteration.

Q: What if I'm allergic to latex?

A: If you're allergic to the latex I use in some props, contact me and I can make one from foam or silicone.  The price will increase however but only by $10 or $20 depending on material.

Q: Why can I only select one variation on props like the rabbit?

A: Unfortunately only one  add-on can be selected due to the site design. If a second selection is wanted you can type it in the custom paint job section and the extra charge can be sent through PayPal.

Q: How soft is the silicone?

A: It has the same density/firmness as human skin. Thin cast sections will be "floppy" but a "thick" section will be "dense".

Q: Can you make the silicone softer?

A: Yes, however since I used a specific silicone changing that would increase the price.

Q: How many of these can you make?

A: This depends on the piece. Certain large pieces are one of a kind, but most smaller pieces can be/are mass produced.

Q: I need a prop for one day only,

could I have a discount on the price?

A: No, lots of people buy my props for a single use and they pay full price. I used to offer a small discount but that's not fair to those who have paid in full or my business. I can work out a payment plan if need be, but that's it.

Q: Do you except returns or exchanges?

A: If you placed an order whether it's a standard purchase or a commission you have 24 hours to cancel it. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged.

If you received the item and would like to return it you need to pay for shipping and there's a $30 restocking fee, $50 if it has a custom request like paint.

I do not offer exchanges.

Q: How do I inquire about a custom prop?

A: Contact me through either of my sites, Esty, facebook or so on.

Once your idea is hashed out and the agreed on price is set the payment needs to be sent to my PayPal, gffx.info@gmail.com

(the full payment also covers shipping)

The payment can be split into 2 or 3 parts if need be but, I require at least half of the payment before work is started and cancellations are not accepted after that point.

Once started I'll send updated photos of the project as it's being made to ensure that it's what you as a customer wants.

Q: I need a one of a kind, custom piece(s) made. But need them done and shipped to me in a week!

A: No, just No. If I'm making it from scratch I could possibly do it in two weeks, but it takes time to get materials and make these props ...I'm not a wizard.

Q: Can you overnight this?

A: Yes, to overnight an order I'd need your zip code to look up the cost, then you'd have to send the extra cost through PayPal. Disclaimer: An overnighted package will not be there the next day but may take 2-3 days to arrive. Once I ship it all I can provide is the tracking number.

Q: How long does it take to make it?

A: It depends on the size of the piece and the material it's being made out of. Some materials take hours to cure so it can take days to a week.

Q: How long will shipping take?

A: It all depends on your location (state or country) to get an estimate please provide your Location/Zip Code

Q: I need this by a certain date. Is it possible?

A: Yes. Please let me know before you place the order! That way I can see if it's feasible to get it made and shipped to you in time

Q: Do you offer prosthetics for makeup or commissioned prosthetics?

A: Yes, I do. Ranging from realistic wounds to creature, old age and far more. Just message me with what you'd want and we can hash out details. (For custom pieces I only accept payment through PayPal or Zella)

Success! Message received.
